“Ink and Other Stories” is an art exhibition featuring a collection of ultra-short stories (around 600 words each) paired with accompanying illustrations. The exhibition is hosted at Fana kulturhus during Bergen’s Culture Week and later at Åsane kulturhus. Each story in the collection presents everyday moments—told in a different light.
The illustrations are created with Chinese ink and sketching pens on various types of paper. The exhibition setup evokes a sense of nostalgia, inviting visitors to experience the tactile feel of real paper, with minimalist dark tones against warm white and brown hues. The ambiance encourages people to slow down, sit for a while, and take in these simple yet meaningful tales.
Through this collection, the artist aims to convey the fragrance of time and the joy of simplicity.
The original stories were written in Vietnamese and translated into English and Norwegian.
